Jaleo: Celebrity Chef José Andrés opened his newest restaurant in Disney Springs on March 17.  Spanish-inspired food and “artichoke-inspired” architecture.

New Babies at the Animal Kingdom: Guests on the Kilimanjaro Safari at may get a glance of the new Masai giraffe calf born in January named Jabari. Also, those walking the Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail, may catch a glimpse of baby Grace, born to mom Kashata on May 1.

Celebrate with the Incredibles at Pixar Place: At Hollywood Studios until Sept. 30. Meet Mr. Incredible, Mrs. Incredible, and Frozone. Also, see Edna Mode’s Super-Suit Gallery, take part in a dance party, and follow the clues to find Jack-Jack.

Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy: A new attraction at Hollywood Studios. This is an animated film with audience participation.

Mickey and Minnie’s Surprise Celebration:  At the Magic Kingdom until Sept 30. Celebrate Mickey and Minnie’s 90th Birthday.

Spring or Summer 2019 A Space-themed restaurant in Epcot may appear in spring or summer between Mission Space and Epcot. The Disney Food Blog reports that the Patina Restaurant Group has posted online looking for applicants to work in a Disney Epcot Space 220 Restaurant in Florida with an April 2019 date to “join the crew.”

Summer 2019 NBA Experience opens in Disney Springs

Summer 2019 Opening of City Works Eatery & Pour House at Disney Springs. The location is expected to offer 80 local and international brews on tap.

August 29 Phase I opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Hollywood Studios. Disney reports,On opening day for phase one, you’ll be able to live your own Star Wars story and take the controls of the most famous ship in the galaxy aboard Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, sample amazing galactic food and beverages, explore an intriguing collection of merchant shops and more.

August 29-November 23 2019 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival

Fall 2019 The Disney Skyliner gondola transportation system begins service. It will connect Hollywood Studios and Epcot to four resort hotels—Art of Animation, Pop Century, Caribbean Beach and the new Riviera Resort.

Fall 2019 Epcot Forever, a new nighttime show featuring classic Epcot tunes, starts in the fall of 2019. It will only run for a limited time before it is replaced by a yet-to-be-revealed nighttime spectacular in 2020.

Late Fall Phase II opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. This will include the opening of the Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance attraction, an immersive attraction that will put guests in the middle of a climactic battle between the First Order and the Resistance and will blur the lines between fantasy and reality.
