Cast Member Compliments

Did a Cast Member do something awesome for you or someone else? Let his or her boss and the whole world know by sending out a tweet! Use the handle @wdwtoday and the hashtag #CastCompliment. You’ll be doing a good deed.

Last October, my husband had to cut his Disney trip short by a day. The scheduling change meant that we’d have to eat the cost of a $95 non-refundable ticket to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.

Rather than stew, we headed to Guest Services (in our case, the one at the Transportation & Ticketing Station) where a Cast Member named Caroline came to our rescue. She checked the system and discovered that not all of the tickets had been sold for the party the night before. With a little work and the okay of her supervisor, she was able to switch our tickets. We were so grateful.

I created my own personal Twitter handle right then and there to tweet a Cast Compliment. It wasn’t long before I got a response from Walt Disney World Guest services. I was ecstatic the praise got through.

And did you know, Disney sometimes prints out the compliments and surprises Cast Members with a copy? We sure hope Caroline got one!

Be on the lookout for Cast Member good deeds.
