How Disney Fans Keep Up

UPDATED on April 5, 2023

When we are not at Disney, the Main Street Pop In team is online checking out all our favorite Disney writers, bloggers, vloggers, and historians. There are simply a ton of places online to get a fix (in addition to Main Street Pop In, of course). Here are our favorites.

Connecting with Walt
Connecting with Walt is for those who crave to know how the whole Disney juggernaut got started (and it wasn’t because of a mouse). Hosted by Michael Bowling and Craig Williams, this podcast is rich in Disney history, explores everything there is to know about attractions both past and present, offers author interviews and book recommendations, and even has the occasionally Disney legend on the show. Connecting with Walt is like taking a college course in Disney.

Disney Park Princess
The Disney Park Princess podcast and website is full of tips and inspiration for those who love the opulent side of Disney. Each week’s podcast is like taking a free luxury tour inside Disney’s resorts, signature dining, concierge service, spa treatments, VIP tours, shopping and more. But don’t worry if you’re not among the rich and famous, Park Princess splurges don’t always cost a pretty penny. These ladies know how to “do less and enjoy more”. If you want to know where the best snacks are hiding or what to do on a rainy day, the Park Princesses have you covered.

Disney Food Blog
DFB lives and breathes its slogan, “Food IS a Theme Park.” Its YouTube videos are beautiful and really make you want to try every delicious suggestion. From romantic, high-end dining to where to get the best burger, DFB is there to inspire, but offers much more than social media posts about food. DFB has planning tips, quirky commentary, news, and e-books. Everyone loves AJ, and you will too.

Disney History Institute
The DHI Podcast hosted by Todd J. Pierce takes DEEEEEEEEP dives into the lives of Disney legends, the creations and innovations invented by the Disney Company, and the ins-and-outs of the theme parks. This show is for those who want to know everything! What we love about the podcast is its timeliness. You can tune in anytime – for 30 minutes or for four hours – and really learn something about the men and women who helped Walt Disney create one of the most influential companies in the world.

Disney Parks Blog
We have to give props to Disney here. The official Disney Parks Blog is visually stunning and of course has the scoop on pretty much EVERYTHING! We love photos at Main Street Pop In, and who can set up a better shot than Disney?
